Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are developing two non-fiction shows for Netflix as per the statement given by their production company.
In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who entered into a deal with the broadcaster under their Archewell Productions label, will center on a lifestyle program and a professional polo show. Having stepped back from the British monarchy in 2020, they currently reside in California.
Meghan is an executive producer and curator of a series that will “celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship.” Last month, the mother of two launched a lifestyle company called ‘American Riviera Orchard’ and also inked a new podcast agreement with Lemonada Media.
“Curated by Meghan… will celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining, and friendship,” Archewell Productions said in a statement about the first project, as reported by Page Six.
Michael Steed, who previously worked on Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown will be directing the show along with Leah Hariton, an HBO producer of Selena Gomez’s Selena + Chef cooking show.
According to the statement, the titles and premiere dates of the two shows will be disclosed in the coming months. The statement also mentioned that both shows are still in the initial stages of development.
