An anonymous royal fan took over Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand website, leaving a message for Kate Middleton. The UK domain for American Riviera Orchard, ending with “.uk,” leads to a foodbank charity. The message on the landing page reads, “Forgiveness. Permission. Please donate to the Trussell Trust.” The page redirects to a fundraiser upon clicking on the donate option.
The fundraiser, led by the Trussell Trust on the Just Giving website, seems to be verified. The trust’s description on the platform states, “We are working to end the need for food banks in the UK.” While the identity of the hijacker remains undisclosed, the anonymous user clarified in the fundraiser’s story that it was not an action by Meghan and expressed hope that she “wouldn’t mind.”
The royal fan also expressed support for The Princess of Wales with the message, “Thoughts with Catherine.” This gesture comes shortly after Kate Middleton publicly disclosed her cancer diagnosis in a video where she acknowledged undergoing necessary treatments. It seems that Kate’s supporters welcomed this action, as the fundraiser has already reached 55% of its target of $1,245. Currently, 42 supporters have contributed to the cause.
